This is an original lemon jam produced in collaboration with a small jam shop in Suo Ojima Island, Setouchi Jam's Garden and the company of Mamena in Kubi!
It is finely finished with rich sourness and refreshing bitterness of aftertaste. Pound cake and lemonade would also be delicious in addition to only bread and yogurt.

This is a lemon carefully grown from particular about the soil without use of any agricultural chemicals in the bouncy climate of Seto Inland Sea.

Hide Kajioka
Mr. Kajioka has been growing lemons with nature without using agricultural chemicals since he made a U-turn to his hometown Kubi eight years ago.
He calls his own farming method which only cares as simple as possible, “Lazy farming method” and carefully cultivates the natural circulation.

Shintaro Takeuchi
After stationed in Spain, Mr. Takeuchi moved to Kubi where his grandmother lived, and got started in farming.
He has been growing citrus from particular about the soil without using chemical fertilizers or weed killer.

[About Kubi]
Kubi in Osaki Shimojima Island with a population of about 500 people located in Kure City of Hiroshima Prefecture is a small village surrounded by the gentle waves of Seto Inland Sea and terraced fields where colorful citrus fruits have been flourishing as a major industry since back in the day.
People in this place where a loose community exists will greet if they see each other. It doesn't matter even if the person is not a local people. Share the crops they raised and the fish they caught as they have gotten used to. If something doesn’t exist, create it by yourself, and if it breaks, fix it by yourself. Sweat every day working on the fields and say a word at the end of the day, "Phew! I really worked all day long today!"
There is such a soil in Kubi where we the human being can continue essentially to be rich.
